Check-in

How check-in works

How kids check-in works, from the first family to a Sunday-morning routine.

Check-in keeps kids safe and accounted for. Parents check their children in on a kiosk or their phone, a label prints for the child, and only someone with the matching code can check them out.

Set up check-in

Turn on Check-in

Make sure Check-in is on in Features.

Create your check-in groups

In Check-in settings, set up a group for each class and choose its grades and classroom.

Pair your devices

Install the Check-in Portal on each kiosk and enter your Device Code. See Set up a device.

Add families

Families can register their children in the Culminate Life app. You can also add a parent and children from Children.

On Sunday

  1. A parent finds their family on the kiosk with their phone number and enters their 4-digit check-in code.
  2. They pick which children are here. Each child is placed in the group for their grade.
  3. Labels print for each child, with a matching code for pickup. Parents with the app can also get a pickup pass.
  4. At pickup, the code is checked and the child is checked out.
Families who plan a visit on your website can start check-in before they arrive.
