Attributes
Set up options people can add to items, like milk, flavours, or toppings.
Attributes are options you add to items: oat milk, an extra shot, vanilla syrup. You organise them into groups (like “Milk” or “Syrups”), then attach groups to items.
Create a group
- Go to Community → Point of Sale and select the Attributes tab.
- Select New group, enter a Title, pick an icon, and save.
Create an attribute
- Pick a group, then select Add to group.
- Choose the type: New Text, New Color, or New Image.
- Fill in the Label, Short Label, and an Amount increase (added to the item’s price, or $0).
- Set inventory (Has Infinite Inventory or a count) and availability (Mark as Sold Out, Item is Available, Available for Order Online). Turn on Preselected to select it by default, and Show Label to show its name.
- Select Create attribute.
Select an attribute to edit it, then Update attribute, or Delete it. Remove from group takes it out of a group without deleting it.
See where it’s used
Select an attribute to see the Items that use it and the Items on recent orders, with order number, date, price, and quantity.
To add a group to an item, edit the item and select Add a group. See Create an item.
