Itinerary and updates

Add sessions and speakers to an event, import a schedule, and post updates to everyone coming.

For conferences, retreats, and camps, the itinerary shows people the schedule in the app: sessions, speakers, rooms, and handouts. Updates let you tell everyone coming about a change.

Open the event from Community → Events, then choose Itinerary or Updates in its menu.

Itinerary

TitleThe session’s name.
Type and TrackOptional labels, like “Workshop” or “Students”, that people can filter by.

DraftKeeps the session hidden from the app until you publish it.

If the event is already live, check Post an update about this change to tell people.

Import a schedule

Select Import a CSV, then Download the template. Fill it in with your sessions in a spreadsheet, save it as CSV, and import it.

Work with sessions

  • Use Days to move between days, and filter by type or track.
  • Drag a session onto another to give it that session’s time. (Clear the filters first.)
  • Each session’s menu has Edit, Duplicate, Notes outline, and Delete.
  • When you have drafts, select Publish to put them in the app.

Notes outlines

A notes outline is offered when someone starts notes for a session in the app. They choose Use the Outline to copy it into their note. Open a session’s Notes outline to write one, or Copy from another session. Editing it later only changes notes started after you save.

Updates

Updates are short posts on the event, like “Doors open at 6:30” or “We’ve moved to the gym”.
