Giving overview
Total giving, trends, funds, methods, recurring giving, and how many givers come back.
Open Giving → Overview and choose a From and To date. Select Download donations CSV to export the gifts in the range.
| Card | What it shows |

| Total Given | Total giving in the range, compared with before. |
| Gifts | Number of gifts and the average gift. |
| Givers | Unique givers, giving per giver, and gifts each. |
| First-time Givers | People whose first gift came in the range, and their share of givers. |
| Giving trend | Dollars and unique givers over time. Use Group giving by to switch between days, weeks, and months. Your best period is called out. |
| Year over year | This range against the same range last year. |
| Recurring | Projected monthly giving from active schedules, and how much of the range came from recurring gifts. Manage opens Recurring. |
| Giving by fund | Totals, gifts, and average gift per fund. |
| Giving methods | Card, bank, check, cash, and more, and how much was given digitally. Use Measure methods by to switch between amount and count. |
| Recent gifts | The latest gifts. View all opens Donations. |
| Giver retention | Of each month’s givers, how many gave again 1, 2, 3, or more months later. |
| Givers by age | Which age groups give most. |
| Fee coverage | How many gifts covered the processing fee. |
First-time Givers is a great list for thank-you notes. The First-time donorsreport gives you their names.
