Notes outlines
When someone opens notes for an episode in the app, they can choose Use the Outline or Start Blank. The outline is copied into their note, so they can fill in the blanks as they listen.
Write an outline
Open the episode
Go to Community → Podcast → Episodes, select the episode, and open the Notes Outline tab.
Choose where the outline comes from
Under Where it comes from, pick:
- This episode’s own outline, or
- Series default outline: one outline shared by every episode in the series.
Turn on Offer this outline when someone starts notes so people see it.
Write it
Use headings, lists, and blanks. To start from something you’ve written before, select Copy from another episode.
Once the episode has audio, you can add timestamps that play from that point in the audio.
Select Save outline
The page shows how many notes started and how many used the outline.
Gatherings
If you meet weekly, you can also offer an outline on a gathering before the episode is posted. Notes taken there move onto the episode once it’s linked to the date.
