Get on Apple Podcasts and Spotify
Submit your podcast’s RSS feed to podcast apps so people can subscribe anywhere.
Every podcast you create has an RSS feed. Podcast apps read it to list your show and pick up new episodes automatically. You submit it once to each app.
Before you submit
Make sure your podcast has:
- Square artwork (Apple asks for at least 1400 × 1400 pixels).
- A title, description, author, and category. See Create a podcast.
- At least one episode with audio.
Copy your feed URL
Go to Community → Podcast, select your podcast, and select Copy podcast feed URL.
Submit it
| App | Where to submit |
|---|---|
| Apple Podcasts | Sign in to Apple Podcasts Connect, select +, choose New Show, and add your show with its RSS feed. |
| Spotify | Sign in to Spotify for Creators, choose to add an existing podcast, and paste your RSS feed. |
| YouTube Music | In YouTube Studio, create a podcast and choose to submit an RSS feed. |
| Other apps | Most apps, like Overcast and Pocket Casts, find your show once it’s on Apple Podcasts. |
Each app checks your feed and can take a few days to approve it the first time. After that, new episodes appear on their own.
These steps happen on other companies’ sites, and they change from time to time. If something looks different, follow that app’s own instructions for submitting an RSS feed.
