Prayer requests
Read prayer requests from the app, web, and text, reply to people, and set up text-to-pray.
People can send prayer requests from your app, your website, or by text. They arrive here for your care team. The number next to Prayer Request in the sidebar shows how many are unread.
Read and reply
- Open Community → Prayer Request. Requests are listed on the left; Unread ones are marked.
- Select a request to read it. It shows the person’s name and email.
- Type a reply and select Send message. Replies go out under your leader card if you have one.
- Select Mark as viewed when you’ve read it.
Search requests by name or text.
Text to pray
People can text a code to your organization’s number to start a prayer request.
- Select Prayer request settings.
- Set the Prayer request code: the word people text, like
PRAY. - Set the Completion message: sent when a request is complete.
- Optionally, turn on Send a link to complete the prayer request and enter the Prayer request link URL, to text back a link instead of collecting it by text.
- Select Save.
