Culminate Life app

Events and tickets

How people find events, say they’re going, buy tickets, pay balances, and plan their schedule.

Events you create in the dashboard show up in the app. What people can do depends on how you set the event up.

Find events

The events list can be filtered by date (Upcoming, Today, This Week, This Weekend, This Month, Past Events) and by type (Going, Free, Tickets, Video). People can search too.

An event’s page

The page shows the cover image, When, About, Who’s Going, the Schedule (itinerary), Files, and Before You Go. Add to Calendar adds it to their phone’s calendar.

Events without tickets

People tap I’m Going, and they’re added to People going. Can’t Go? takes them off.

Events with tickets

People tap Get Tickets. The page shows the price, how many tickets are left, and when sales end. If the event has criteria they don’t meet, they’ll see You Can’t Get Tickets.

If the payment offers a deposit or installments, Ways to Pay shows each choice side by side:

  • Pay in Full: the whole price in one payment.
  • Deposit: what holds their spot, and the rest that’s due later.
  • Installments: the first payment, and how many payments there are, with the date of the last one.

Buy tickets

Choose how many

There may be a limit per person or per order.

Enter names or fill out forms

For name tickets, they pick family members or Someone Else for each ticket. For form tickets, they fill out one Registration Form per ticket.

Review and pay

They choose how to pay, add a Discount Code if they have one, and pay by card or Apple Pay. Bank accounts are for giving only.

  • Pay in Full pays everything now.
  • Deposit (if offered) pays the deposit now, with the rest due by the option’s date.
  • Pay in Installments (if offered) shows the Payment Schedule: each payment with its title, amount, and due date, with the payments charged today marked Due today.

Discount codes only work when paying in full. If they enter a code while a deposit or installments is picked, the app asks whether to switch to paying in full. They can tap Keep Deposit or Keep Installments to stay on the plan without the code.

You’re Going!

Their tickets are on the event page and in Profile → Tickets. They show the QR code at the door.

On an installment plan, the confirmation shows what was paid today and how much is left, with the next due date. If nothing was charged at checkout, it says Installment Plan Started.

Pay a balance

If they paid a deposit or are on an installment plan, the event page shows what they still owe:

  • Deposit: Balance Due, with the remaining balance and its due date.
  • Installments: Next Installment, with the next payment and its due date, then how many payments come after it. If a payment was missed, it says Payment Past Due and the amount due now includes it.

They tap Pay to pay. On an installment plan, the button pays the next payment (or everything that’s past due), not the whole balance. Profile → Tickets also shows the next amount due for each ticket.

Every event payment, with receipts, is in Profile → Event Payments. To collect a payment for someone yourself, see Collect a balance.

Share a ticket

From the event page, Share Ticket sends a ticket to someone else’s account by email.

Itineraries

For events with an itinerary, people see What’s Planned, can open each session (with speakers, worship songs, files, and directions), and build My Schedule by starring sessions. They choose how many minutes before each to be reminded. If two starred sessions overlap, the app tells them.

Event videos

For event video groups, people can watch sessions, join the live stream with Live Chat, and pick up where they left off. If the videos are for ticket holders, others see what’s included and Get Tickets.
