Apple TV
Watch episodes and live streams on Apple TV, and follow along with notes and chat on your phone.
The Apple TV app plays your episodes and live streams on the big screen. People sign in with their phone, and their progress stays with their account.
Sign in on Apple TV
- Open the app on the Apple TV and choose Sign In. It shows a code.
- On the phone, open Profile → Apple TV and select Sign In on Apple TV (or scan the code).
- Enter the code and select Approve.
The TV picks up episodes where they left off.
Follow along on your phone
While something plays on the TV, the phone shows a bar with Follow Along. It opens Notes, Comments, and, for live streams, Chat. Timestamps in notes use where the TV is, and tapping one jumps the TV there.
Manage TVs
Profile → Apple TV lists signed-in TVs and what each is playing. People can Rename a TV (like “Living Room”) or Sign Out of it. Signing out takes the TV back to the sign-in screen; progress stays with their account.
